CLEAR BEFORE WE BEGIN

Good questions.
Straightforward answers.

Start here for the practical details of working with AppHill.

01 / STARTING A PROJECT

Starting a project

What should I include in a quote request?+

Tell us about the problem, intended users, essential workflows, existing systems, budget range and timing. You can attach a PDF brief. It is fine to identify questions that still need discovery.

How much will my project cost?+

Cost depends on scope, integrations, design, data migration and delivery requirements. We discuss those details before providing a written proposal; this website does not offer a fixed price for every project.

How long does development take?+

The timeline depends on the agreed scope, dependencies and feedback process. Milestones and acceptance criteria are established in the proposal.

Can you help define the scope?+

Yes. Discovery can turn business goals and current workflows into requirements, priorities and a useful first release.

02 / DEVELOPMENT & OWNERSHIP

Development & ownership

Do you work with Microsoft technologies?+

AppHill’s core focus includes C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET MAUI and business application development. .NET MAUI projects can target Android, iOS, Windows and macOS through Mac Catalyst. Database and hosting choices depend on project requirements and your existing environment.

Can you improve an existing application?+

We can review the current code, data and infrastructure to plan modernization or targeted improvements. Access and review scope are agreed first.

Will we own the source code?+

Ownership, delivery access, licenses and third-party components are addressed in the written project agreement. Ask about these before work starts.

Will the application work on mobile?+

Web projects can include responsive interfaces and agreed browser/device checks. A dedicated mobile application is a separate scope when required.

03 / LAUNCH & ONGOING SUPPORT

Launch & ongoing support

Can you publish to our own server?+

We assess the server, runtime, domain and access requirements, then agree the deployment plan and any necessary infrastructure work.

What happens after launch?+

Handover, maintenance and support are defined in the project or service agreement. Any ongoing support scope and response expectations should be confirmed in writing.

How do I report a problem?+

Use the support page or email [email protected]. Include the affected application, steps to reproduce, approximate time and project reference. Never include passwords.

Is support available 24/7?+

This website does not promise round-the-clock support. Availability and escalation arrangements depend on your agreement.

04 / CAREERS & ENQUIRIES

Careers & enquiries

Are there current vacancies?+

No specific vacancies are advertised on the careers page at present. You can submit a general application or internship enquiry for consideration when a relevant opportunity arises.

What can I upload with an enquiry?+

The careers, quote and support forms accept one PDF up to 750 KB. A CV is required for a careers application. Other supporting documents are optional.

What happens to form submissions?+

Careers, quote and support submissions are recorded privately on the server with a receipt reference. The privacy notice explains storage and retention. The Contact page separately prepares an email draft on your device.

Does requesting a quote commit me to a project?+

No. A website enquiry creates no payment obligation or development commitment. Commercial terms are agreed separately.
